From Padania to Tuscany for a life with slow rhythms, made of nature, hospitality and great wines. This is the story of Podere Alberese, a farmhouse and agricultural business established in 2003 which owes its name to the Latin etymology of a particular light coloured stone- Albus– that is very present in the area.

The structure, restored in 2000 respecting the original structure and materials of the seventeenth century, has rooms and apartments furnished with antique furniture and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast, very rich, is only prepared with the agricultural business’ products, from jams to cakes passing, for those who love savoury breakfast, to local salami and pecorino cheese. All this is accompanied by the ever-present extra-virgin olive oil, one of the top products along with wine.

Podere Alberese has immediately showed its attention to the environment and sustainability by opting for an organic certification. For those who want to deepen the wine&food side of their vacation, the property also organises guided tastings of products lasting an hour, to be experienced with the suggestive landscape of Crete as background.
